Expert coaching on any draft — feedback, track changes, and priority actions to strengthen your writing before it counts. For students and professionals at every level.
I went from a Credit to a Distinction after using the feedback. The priority actions were exactly what I needed to hear.
I used it for my TAFE assignment and the feedback was spot on. It told me exactly where my argument fell apart.
As a working professional, I used this for a board report. The suggestions around executive clarity were genuinely useful.
Finally got feedback that actually matched my rubric. Worth every dollar before a major assignment.
I'm a high school student and this helped me understand why my essays kept losing marks. Clear and not overwhelming.
The track changes view is brilliant. I could see exactly what needed fixing paragraph by paragraph.

AcademicWingman was created because we know firsthand how difficult it is to get meaningful, timely feedback on your writing before submission.
Our team holds postgraduate qualifications including Masters degrees and professional Fellowships. We have real experience navigating university assessment systems across New Zealand and Australia.
We work within higher education and understand assessment from both sides of the desk. We know what markers look for, how rubrics are applied, and where student writing most commonly falls short.
We built this tool because we believe every student deserves quality feedback, not just those with access to expensive tutors or well-connected peers. AcademicWingman levels the playing field.
We are coaches, not ghostwriters. Every feature is designed to improve your own writing, never to replace it. Your voice, your ideas, your grade.
AcademicWingman exists to give every writer — at any level — access to honest, expert feedback that was previously only available to a privileged few. Whether you are a high school student working on your first extended essay, a TAFE student navigating an assignment, an undergraduate pushing for a higher grade, or a professional needing sharper workplace writing, we deliver coaching that is fast, specific, and genuinely useful.
We are based in New Zealand and serve writers across NZ, Australia, the UK, USA, Asia-Pacific, and globally. We understand the weight of a looming deadline, the frustration of not knowing where your draft falls short, and the gap between the feedback you get and the feedback you actually need.
Have a question or want to know more? We would love to hear from you.
